By road

Delhi to Rishikesh
by road

The road trip from Delhi is about 240 km and takes roughly six hours on a clear run, via the Delhi–Meerut Expressway, then NH-334 through Muzaffarnagar and Roorkee to Haridwar, and the final 20 km to Rishikesh. A private AC car is the most flexible option — door to door with stops when you want.

Overnight Volvo coaches run from Delhi’s ISBT Kashmere Gate to Rishikesh and Haridwar (7–8 hours), a budget-friendly choice for solo travellers and couples. We can arrange either and handle the pickup at the Rishikesh end.

By rail & air

Nearest railway
& airport

The nearest major railhead is Haridwar Junction, 20 km away and very well connected to Delhi (including the Shatabdi) and the rest of India; Rishikesh has its own smaller station with limited services. From Haridwar it’s a 45-minute taxi to Rishikesh.

The nearest airport is Dehradun’s Jolly Grant Airport, about 35 km (1 hour) away, with daily flights from Delhi and other metros. We can meet you at the airport or station with a transfer so the last leg is seamless.

Rishikesh is about 240 km from Delhi — roughly 6 hours by road via the Delhi–Meerut Expressway and Haridwar on a clear run. Overnight Volvo coaches take 7–8 hours, and a train to Haridwar plus a 20 km taxi is often the most relaxed option.
The nearest airport is Dehradun’s Jolly Grant Airport, about 35 km (1 hour) from Rishikesh, with daily flights from Delhi and other cities. From there it’s a short taxi or pre-arranged transfer into town.
Haridwar Junction, 20 km away, is the main railhead and is very well connected to Delhi and across India. Rishikesh has its own smaller station (including the newer Yoga Nagari Rishikesh station) with more limited services. From Haridwar it’s about a 45-minute taxi to Rishikesh.
For groups and families, a private AC car is most flexible — door to door in about 6 hours with the vehicle staying for sightseeing. Solo travellers and couples often prefer the overnight Volvo from ISBT Kashmere Gate or a train to Haridwar. We can arrange any of the three.
Rishikesh is compact and walkable in parts, with e-rickshaws, autos and shared Vikrams for short hops between Tapovan, Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula and the ghats. For sightseeing, activities and trips to Kunjapuri or Neelkanth, a private car is easiest — we include it in most trips.
